You seem like you are having fun but then I see your eyes
I can see there is something not connecting there
Some joy you seek and can not find
I can see there is more to this than meets the eye
And I don't think you even know how to ask what or why
The lost in your eyes has me seeking too because I want the best for you
But how can I find what you can not speak
How can I know what you will not seek
How can I say what you know not how to pray
I see it and I recognise it, like a lost word in my vocabulary
Like a lost piece of my soul that is remembered only in dreams and vaguest thoughts
